Meet Logan
Logan recently completed our 200 hour yoga teacher training. He is teaching his first public class Tuesday, July 12th at 8:30 pm. All proceeds will go to the PETA.
Why did you decide to go through teacher training?
I decided to go forward with teacher training, because I practiced yoga enough and it was time for me to go deeper into my studies. Yoga helped me so much as an individual – get back to the person I was always supposed to be. It assisted me in becoming a better person and athlete.
What is your favorite pose and why?
My favorite pose it tree pose because I like training my balance. It feels very grounding but at the same time in this pose you have to keep your focus in order to keep your balance in the pose.
What is your least favorite pose and why?
My least favorite pose is half pigeon. Half pigeon for me is pretty difficult. For me it is the mixture between the deep stretch and the amount of time we usually spend in the pose during our practice.
If you could offer one piece of advice for someone who was thinking about going through teacher training what would it be?
Just go forward with it without questioning too much. For me, and anybody I know, it has been a helpful investment in yourself. The knowledge is priceless, and can be used for many different things within your life.
What is one thing you wish people knew about you before meeting you?
I wish for people to understand that they can feel comfortable around me.
