Teacher Training: RYT

Teacher Training Info Meeting in October 2023!

One common misconception of teacher training is “I don’t (necessarily) want to teach. It’s not for me.” The end goal is to find the tricks, tips, and deeper connection to the practice– to first and foremost enhance your own journey. Then –maybe–teaching others might feel like your path.

Ever wonder if there was more to your yoga practice?  There is. Our teacher training allows you to both expand your personal practice and share your passion of yoga with others.

Yoga Innovations teacher training qualifies for Yoga Alliance 200 hr Registered Yoga Teacher certification (RYT).  This training will give you the skills to lead students through a standard Power Yoga class and the foundation for customizing to your desired audience.  With completion of this program, you are then eligible for Prenatal Yoga certification, Children’s Yoga certification, and Yoga Intervention Specialist certification.

The program consists of seven weekends over the course of a 2023, as well as home study, written assignments, practice hours, and real-time teaching experience.

What makes Yoga Innovations Training different from all the rest?

Most Power Yoga trainings, and a lot of other trainings for that matter, teach one dance, one series, one formula to get the ‘job’ done.  YI has created a different structure where teachers will learn how to share a successful yoga series of different time lengths, abilities, and audiences. Define, refine, and orchestrate your yoga vibe.
